The vision was born in early 2024, founded by Carla Cordoves. As an avid photographer, Carla has always been captivated by the striking image of a golden moon sitting low on the horizon. To her, that warm, golden hue represents much more than a perfect photograph; it is a universal symbol of abundance, new opportunities, and a brighter financial future.

She channeled that inspiration into her first venture, creating Gold Moon Capital, a multifamily investment company built on a singular goal: to generate an abundance of wealth and create life-changing opportunities for others.

A Vision Expanded

Great visions naturally attract great partnerships. In mid-2025, while collaborating on a real estate project, Carla crossed paths with Jimmy. The professional synergy was immediate. They quickly realized that by combining their unique strengths and industry expertise, they could empower clients on a much larger scale than real estate alone.

Shortly after, they launched Gold Moon Capital Group—a niche consulting firm dedicated to providing expert guidance in business growth, strategic scaling, and comprehensive capital solutions.

Carla Cordoves serves as President of Gold Moon Capital Group Inc., leading the firm’s executive strategy, revenue growth, and the execution of its real estate, business growth and capital sourcing initiatives. She also sits on the Board of Directors, acting as a primary fiduciary to protect stakeholder interests while driving high-level governance and long-term strategic vision.

Carla excels at unifying diverse interests and resources to execute complex objectives. Leveraging her background as an ex-Fortune 500 tech consultant and seasoned business owner, she bridges the gap between high-level vision and operational reality. Her counsel is rooted in practical experience, allowing her to design strategies that eliminate inefficiencies, accelerate execution, and directly impact the bottom line.

Her investment career began with her first acquisition at 23, rapidly scaling into a diverse portfolio that includes Short-Term Rentals, land, and value-add multifamily assets. This track record was the catalyst for founding Gold Moon Capital, a data-driven multifamily investment company. This decisive, hands-on experience provides the firm with an advisory perspective deeply grounded in asset performance and deal execution.

Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, Carla leverages a distinct global advantage in capital flow and market expansion. Her international tenure—spanning residence in three countries and high-level consulting for private and government entities in Brazil—grants her unique market access beyond typical domestic boundaries. This cross-cultural fluency ensures Gold Moon Capital Group’s strategies are meticulously tailored to resonate with diverse investor landscapes worldwide.

James Bierbauer

Vice President

Jimmy Bierbauer serves as the Vice President of Gold Moon Capital Group Inc., responsible for structuring and deploying the firm’s capital sourcing consulting strategies. In addition to his executive responsibilities, he serves on the firm’s Board of Directors, contributing to governance, strategic direction, and long-term growth initiatives.

In his executive role, Jimmy oversees lending partnerships, financial modeling, and the operational performance of advisory clients. He ensures that capital solutions are not only well-structured, but fully executable and aligned with sustainable value creation. His work is grounded in years of hands-on experience across commercial real estate, lending, and strategic capital sourcing.

Jimmy brings a distinctly operator-driven perspective to capital advisory, shaped by his background in specialized hospitality management. This experience allows him to advise clients beyond financing alone, offering practical operational insight to help maximize asset performance—particularly within hospitality and other income-producing properties where execution is critical.

Beyond Gold Moon Capital Group, Jimmy is actively involved in organizational leadership through board and advisory service. He currently serves on the Board of Pop.Earth, a nonprofit dedicated to providing affordable and inclusive holistic wellness programs for individuals with autism and special needs. Recognized for his strategic mindset, operational expertise, and disciplined approach to execution, Jimmy is frequently sought for additional board and advisory roles and selectively engages where he can add meaningful, long-term value aligned with responsible stewardship and impact.
